South Dakota Historical Collections- complete set of 41 volumes including the original blue volume I, the reprint of volume I, the index, and all of the other volumes. The older volumes are generally in good condition, and the newer volumes have never been read. The shortcomings of the books are:
- Volume I: old newspaper article glued into front of book
- Volume IV: stamped inside front cover as former South Dakota Historical Society
- Volume V: waterstained pages
- Volumes VII and IX: formerly part of library of Governor Elrod and have his signature inside front cover
- Volume XI: waterstained pages
- Volume XIV: small tear on outside binding at top
Other than the two books from Governor Elrod’s personal library, none of the volumes are ex-library books. Other than the two Elrod books and the one SD Historical Society book, none of the volumes have a name or signature or stamp of a previous owner. None of the books have a broken or damaged binding. None of the books have any loose pages. Asking Price for the entire set is $2000.00 which does not include shipping & handling.
